Shereen is Author of The Anti-Racist Organization - Dismantling Systemic Racism in the Workplace (Wiley, 2022), Chair of the African Diaspora Economic Inclusion Foundation which supports Black female entrepreneurs and Senior Advisor to communication and reputation management consultancy firm Lansons.

Chih Hoong also has a reputation for innovative financing to support better outcomes. He is a recognised expert in the design and implementation of Social Impact Bonds and wider forms of social investment in the UK and internationally.  

He provides independent expert advice to several the UK Government’s Social Impact Bond Funds and since 2014 has provided support to Japan, playing an instrumental role contributing to the emergence of SIBs in Japan, Europe and Asia. 

Althea Thomas

Racial Equity Coach

A trained mediator with an MSc in Mediation and Conflict Resolution, Althea specialises in mediating employment disputes, organisational conflict management, and business conciliation, focusing specifically on anti-Black racism and workplace equity. She has over 37 years’ experience working as a nurse and a social worker both within the public sector and charitable organisations. Althea also holds an MA in Social Work and Educational Research.

Janet Houlis

Associate Director

Accumulating 33 years’ experience within human resources, people and change management, Janet Houlis has extensive international knowledge in effecting transformational change to organisational goals, processes and culture thereby assisting people across business hierarchies to adapt to different ways of working. 

 

A champion of equity, diversity and inclusion throughout her career, Janet has significant expertise in the application of the Equality Act (2010), proficiently implementing equitable opportunities in order to create inclusive workplaces.

Thamara Jean

Communications & Racial Equity Consultant

Thamara Jean is currently completing a D.Phil. in Politics at the University of Oxford. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Media Analysis and Criticism from Hunter College and a Master’s in Political Theory from the University of Oxford. Her work focuses on Black feminist communities and their impact on movements against racial oppression. Her desire to dismantle social inequity across sectors has led her to work with non-profit organizations advocating for social justice issues ranging from voter engagement to education inequity. In each setting, her work aims to effectively communicate the needs and success stories of marginalized communities.

Dr Margaret Crowe

Associate Director

Air Force Lt. Col (ret) Margie Crowe is a leadership & DEI consultant, published writer, higher education director, and professor with broad experience in government and civilian programs, strategic planning, as well as research studies in leadership practices affecting policies and programmes in social justice, anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion. She currently consults for the military, law enforcement, and private sector. 

Margie holds a BA in political science, MS in International Relations/Nation Security, MS in Special Education, a postgraduate degree and a doctorate in educational leadership, and a training certification in Racial Equity Literacy facilitation.

Michelle Tlhabologang

Client Relations Executive

Michelle cultivates relationships with HR rewired’s new and existing clients, providing comprehensive support to the company’s diverse client base.

Michelle is featured in Cephas William’s ‘Portrait of Black Britain’ project for her work as an ambassador for BounceBlack, a community for Black students and professionals navigating recovery from adversity while building careers. In 2020 she was awarded ‘Student of the Year’ by the Ladies Empowerment Movement. Michelle is a student at the University of Manchester studying BA(Hons) in Economics and Politics.

Julian Walker

Group Facilitator

Julian brings an understanding of public policy and organisational change after roles in the UK senior civil service (Home Office and Cabinet Office) and fifteen years supporting public sector reform in post-conflict and fragile states (Afghanistan, Bosnia, Libya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Syria, Tunisia). Julian is trained in Gestalt OD and group process and uses her experiences to help leaders increase their awareness of the impact whiteness in/on themselves and in the world. 

She also holds a first class degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University, completed the NTL/Global OD certificate in 2012 and the i-GOLD global OD and leadership programme in 2018.
